One of the coolest easter eggs in the video. The news channel is named “Cardinal News” and the cloud is fully covering New Jersey, original home of Pinegrove. Maybe a coincidence? Who’s to say.

Big sign saying “STEVE” right above Sleepwalker. A possible reference to the line in New Friends that goes “Steve’s in Germany…that’s it!”

Yet another use of the yellow/blue color scheme of the video. Sleepwalker’s pjs are yellow with a thin blue seem, the artists flannel is dark blue and yellow, the painting is blue/yellow, and the palette is covered in blue & yellow paint. Not to mention the hand drawn blue and yellow squiggles that appear throughout the video.
